Description of the Family Program
1. At least one parent will attend with any students in grades 1, 3 - 5.
2. We'll be using a program called "A Family of Faith" by Sophia Press that is designed to be used by families with students in this whole age range.
3. We'll provide activities and crafts and incorporate seasonal themes. We'll aim to create a light atmosphere where we can celebrate the love of Jesus in a joyful way while learning important aspects of the Catholic faith as a community of families.
4. Session Format -- Director or Assistant will lead an opening and give an overview of the day's lesson. Parents will work with their students on the lesson and activities guided by catechists/mentors. Director or Assistant will lead a group closing.
5. Slightly younger siblings (4 & 5 yo) and grade 2 siblings are invited to sit with parent and students. They can participate as they are willing/able.

Thursdays, 4 - 5:30 pm -- No special considerations during this session. It will follow the same flow as the other family sessions, except that no other classes are currently scheduled to meet at this time.
