Faith Formation Service Projects
Service Project -- Box of Joy
Our parents and students participated in the Box of Joy service project in the fall of 2019, 2021, 2022, and 2023. This wonderful project involved the whole parish. High school student volunteers helped assemble the empty boxes and pack the filled boxes for shipment. Our students spoke at the weekend parish Masses, passed out empty boxes, and collected the filled boxes. The parishioners took boxes and filled them with gifts for a needy child. As a parish, we were able to deliver close to 250 boxes in 2022 and 2023. We'd like to continue to do more service projects, but we need your help! If you have an idea for a service project you'd like to run with us, email the director!
Service Project -- Welcome Bags for Lazarus House
Our students and parents participated in a service project making Welcome Bags for the family homeless shelter at Lazarus House in Lawrence, MA in early 2020. We hope to continue service projects in the coming year and will need parent volunteers to assist us in organizing the projects. Please email the director if you can help!
Service Project -- Fleece Tie Blankets for the Family Shelter at Lazarus House
Our fifth graders and parents participated in a project making blankets for the family shelter at Lazarus House in Lawrence, MA. Our group meeting for the event was cancelled due to the pandemic, so students finished the blankets at home. We hope to continue service projects in the coming year and will need parent volunteers to assist us in organizing the projects. Please email the director if you'd like to help!
